I just finished all of Torchwood season one. I liked it a lot. I like all the Main Characters -- its a good group. I think I imagined some of them differently from reading the books. I was wondering through my half finished stories. Each set of characters like a group of old friend who's stay was cut way too short -- mid-sentence/mid-thought in some cases. How do you pick up the threads again?

Well I was jelaous of snow in Austin, but now we have snow! Real snow - not ice not slush SNOW ! Wahoo!

I don't often go into bars, but I was looking for someplace casual to eat be myself. This pub was cool and the food turned out to me some of the best I've eaten in Calgary so far. The part I was confused by was the bartender's confusion at my drink order.

Me: I'd like an Amaretto.
Barkeep: pause with a slightly questioning look-- By itself?
Me: yes
